I bought my ice cream maker at Bed, Bath and Beyond. I just used the "20% off one item" coupon. And I've been really happy with it. For me, you can't beat the convenience and consistency. It's so great to be able to dump all the pureed ingedients inside it, turn it on, and walk away. I will give you a heads up if you do end up buying one: the freezer bowl has to be frozen for 24 hours before you use it. I make ice cream on a regular basis so I just leave the bowl in the freezer. Maybe I should buy an ice cream maker. My melon sorbet turned out too "flaky" from the frost-free freezer cycling. I like the picture too.
