Hi Chaya,

I have to agree – it is a great list. We have some pretty talented people in our midst. I, for one, am so happy to have a big list of cookies to choose from the whole year long (when the occasion calls for it).

My husband is my taste tester – a job that he doesn’t mind most of the time. Sometimes I feel for him, since he’s not entirely gluten free (and he can get the real stuff on a whim). He’s funny though, when I do make something he likes – I rarely get any – it’s gone all at once.

Oh – I didn’t realize that you had some issues with your site. That’s so stressful. When I hear something like that – about someone hacking into a site – I struggle try to conceive why a person would voluntarily seek to inflict such evil on another person. It baffles me. I am rather fond of your “techy trauma” term. Fits the bill perfectly.

Oh, and by the way, I’m killing myself with all these cookies here. Slowly torturing myself as I edited and re-edited the post.

Hi Naomi-
can you even get over these amazing recipes? I want to try all of them – but I have to restrain myself. I overdid it a bit around the holidays. I am attempting to turn over a new leaf, as they say, and get back into the regular flow of life.

Thanks again for giving me the opportunity to host. Not only did I have fun – but I learned a lot in the process :) Meeting all these wonderful bloggers has been a true joy !

Stephanie, My heart goes out to you as I had my site hacked into recently and it caused me a bit of techy trauma as well. But you’re so right, life goes on and in the big picture, it’s not a big deal (we remind ourselves as we flail around and holler unconsolably.)

Gosh, you’re killing me with all these cookie recipes anyway. I have a few pounds of extra cookie weight to lose!

Hey Iris ! Thanks so much for stopping by :)
It wasn’t too stressful for me – I just really felt for everyone else — I didn’t want anyone else to feel left out, or anything. In the end, I think it worked out just fine. I believe everyone who wanted to submit was able to.

You’re like me – I was just so sugared out that I just couldn’t get it together – and it was my own month to host! I made about half a dozen batches of my maple masala pecans to give to the neighbors. Of course, I had to extensively sample each batch “just to make sure I was giving away delicious holiday snacks” After that, it wasn’t pretty. I am not sure I can go near pecans for a while….

Sorry this turned into such a stressful endeavor! But you did a wonderful job! I got so sugared out that I couldn’t even attempt to make my own recipe, but I’ve sampled many wonderful gluten free cookie recipes this year, and I’m excited to see many more here!
